Spiritual Tarot and Guidance ~ Knock Knock

Hi everyone ~ this reading is for the 5th ~ 11th September 2021, but I trust as always that whenever it finds you that the Spiritual & Angelic Realms will have a message for you in this reading that also applies at that time.

The overarching energy for this week’s reading is represented to by the Door to Spirit. The message for us from the spiritual & angelic realms through this card is “knock Knock!”.

We are trying so hard to work with you, communicate with you and guide you. The door to our world is always open. and all that we need from you is that you trust us, and be open to us. We are trying to help you to further develop your intuition, so that you may become more aware of our presence.

When the door to spirit opens if you are willing to listen and trust, then your understanding of the spirit world will also deepen. You will become open to their guidance, and your intuition will deepen as will your connection with them.

Our next card that was chosen with their guidance was Thriving. The message for us here is that just like the tree in the background of the image on the card, known as The Tree of Life (the baobab), The Tree of Life has adapted and survived for over 200 million years through many difficult and hard situations and still thrived… and so can we!

We can also at times have to face challenging time’s too, and when we are faced with them we can also thrive. We also have the ability to adapt and change where necessary. We are stronger than we believe and have the ability to overcome any obstacles on our path.

There may be those who look to us for support at times, and we are reminded that giving our support where needed can also help us to grow (3 of Cups). We are reminded that the deep connections that we forge are not always with blood relatives but with others outside of our immediate family. These become the family we choose as our family. These strong connections are often mirrors of ourselves. It is through these connections, the disagreements, miscommunications’ as well as the fun and laughter that we can learn more about ourselves than in any other way.

As we walk our path through life we are often challenged by others and sometimes by our own chosen family (5 of Wands). In these situations if we can “see them” in their true light they can be good for us. They can challenge us to be more creative and give us the push we need to move forward and further advance along our own path more quickly than we would have.

There also comes a warning with this card too, and that is if the competition becomes overbearing, aggressive or detrimental to our health or growth, it is a time to step back and cut the ties that bind you to the person or situation that is creating it.

Often people will come into our life and become a part of our family or maybe just an acquaintance. Some of them will be with us for a lifetime, others only for a short period of time. They may come into our life just to teach us a lesson that we need to learn, or offer the support and guidance we need at a particular time (The Hierophant).

Although these people can act as guides and teachers in our lives, if we listen to and acknowledge the “knock knock” and that the door that has opened, we will find that our own intuition grows stronger, and if we listen to that quiet voice within, we will find that all the knowledge and wisdom that we need we already possess. It is that internal voice that holds the wisdom of the heavens within us.

Knock Knock… who’s there?

Until next time… Please take care and stay safe.

Spiritual Tarot and Guidance ~ The Search

Hi everyone ~ this reading is for the 29th August ~ 4th September 2021, but I trust as always that whenever it finds you that the Spiritual & Angelic Realms will have a message for you in this reading that also applies at that time.

Our first card & the overarching energy for our messages from the spiritual & angelic realms for this week is The Search. I feel that this weeks reading and the continual message (and most needed at this time) that is coming through from them is the need for us all to find ourselves/our life path again.

As the caption on the card says… Feeling lost, Confused, Lonely. How many of us can truly say that after we have all been through this past 18 months or so that we don’t feel at least one of these feelings?

However I feel the message coming through for some of us is more about communicating with ourselves, feeling lost within ourselves, and amidst all the changes we have endured, have lost our way. The message from the spiritual & angelic realms is that we are never alone… their guidance is to go within, quieten the mind, and all the answers we seek are are always within us.

Our second card is Attachment. The message hear I feel is we are being asked to let go of what is no longer working in our lives. It may be a situation we find ourselves in e.g. a job that we feel is no longer right for us or a relationship that no longer feels right. It could be our life in general. Habits or routines that we wish to brake, or we may wish to move and change the place in which we live because it no longer “feels right” for us.

For some of us our lives have changed completely and we have all had restrictions placed upon them, and for some they are still in place. It is only natural that a great many of us have begun feel a restlessness and are beginning to ask the question “where do I go from hear?”

The problem is that the situations we want most to let go of or change are always accompanied by the feeling of fear. It could be from a sense of commitment, guilt or duty but the need for us to make the change runs deep into our soul. I feel spirit are letting us know that our world is changing, the way we live and do things also need to change, and we need adjust and make the necessary changes too.

Our next card Sacred Heart also speaks to us of the need to re-evaluate our lives, priorities and core values. It is also a message of heightened emotions that sometimes rise to overbearing and unbearable heights. The spiritual and angelic realms want us to know “we are hear, we are listening”. Calm yourself, relax, go within, listen and we will answer.

Our last card for this week is Gaia. This the most powerful card in the card deck I have used this weeks message. I was immediately and powerfully drawn to the deck as I began to “tune in” for this reading.

Gaia is know as the “Earth Mother” and represents wisdom, knowledge and understanding. I feel that this again is a message from the spiritual and angelic realms reminding us that they are there for us and they along with Gaia are offering their knowledge, wisdom and understanding if only we are willing to listen..

We are being guided also by Gaia to restore our own balance and wellbeing just as she works to restore the balance and wellbeing of the planet on which we live. She asks us.. to not fear the changes that are taking place within us, just as we should not fear the changes that are taking place on earth, all is evolving and unfolding as it should, just as we are, what the earth needs, as we also as it’s inhabitants need… Is more love.

Until next time… Please take care and stay safe.

Spiritual Tarot & Guidance ~ A Hidden Gift

Spiritual Tarot & Guidance ~ A Hidden Gift. 22nd-28th august 2021. Cards: Temperance, Justice, Knight of Cups, A Hidden Gift.

Spiritual Tarot & Guidance ~ A Hidden Gift

Hi everyone ~ this reading is for the 22nd ~ 28th August 2021, but I trust as always that whenever it finds you that the Spiritual & Angelic realms will have a message for you in this reading that also applies at that time.

The theme behind the message from the spiritual and angelic realms for this week I feel is to reinforce the message of last weeks reading which was the need to trust ourselves and our intuition more, listening and trusting more the inner voice that tries to guide us, the gut feeling we get when something just doesn’t feel right. (If you didn’t get the opportunity to read last weeks reading you can find it here: https://medium2spirit.blog/2021/08/13/spiritual-tarot-guidance-shine-your-light/

I say this because our first card drawn this week come from the Gaia Oracle Deck and it is card the card A Hidden Gift. Through this card I feel that the spiritual and angelic realms are acknowledging the pain of loss and sadness that so many of us are going through at present which is worldwide and far more prevalent than we would normally be expected to deal with.

They bring with it a message that is both difficult to give, to hear and accept. The message is that when we lose someone or something that we love and are deeply attached to, it also brings with is not just the feeling of loss but also the fear of change. It is a part of our human nature to fear the change and sadness that accompanies the loss of something or someone we loved so much.

The message they bring to us is that with with loss and change comes an ending and therefore a new beginning. Nothing is ever truly lost, it simply transforms into something new, just as we leave our earthly body when it is our time to leave this world and start a bright new beginning as we return to our true home, The Spirit World. That is a part of the “Hidden Gift”, that with every ending there is always a new beginning and that the love and memories will live forever in our heart.

Our next card (Justice) also reminds us of the natural laws of Balance, Truth, Karma, Wisdom and Accountability. It can also as you may know speak of the need to deal with the legal system in some way. So please be careful and pay extra attention when dealing with legal matters!

I feel the message that the spiritual and angelic realms wish to draw us to through the card of Justice is our need to learn from all of our past experiences both good and bad and use them for our own personal growth. They are encouraging to us take a along look at ourselves and try to free ourselves from any negativity that could be causing an imbalance in our life.( the scales of Justice).

I feel this why they have also given us the card of Temperance. This is also a card of finding balance, the ability to take the middle path as we walk our own pathway, of finding a balance between right and wrong, and the ability of being able to make the right decision however difficult it may be, rather than choosing taking the easy way out.

Our final message from the spiritual and angel realms comes to us through the Knight of Cups. The most well used meaning of the Knight of Cups if you are someone looking for love is that he can signify someone new entering your life. However although he is a classic romantic and passionate soul, he can also signify someone who is in love with the idea of being in love! This could be you or them so tread very carefully!

I feel the message the spiritual and angelic realms wish to draw our attention to more is the other qualities that he possesses. He wears his heart on his sleeve, he’s honest and passionate in his thoughts and words. He is intuitive and has no problems in speaking up about the things he is passionate about, and has no problem expressing his emotions.

The card that signifies the overall energy for this reading is “A Hidden Gift”. The message from the spirit and angelic realms throughout this reading is their way of letting us know that the “Hidden Gift/s” applies to all of us, and is within all of us.

We all possess the qualities, gifts and abilities represented by the cards used in this reading within us. The spiritual and angelic realms are asking us to recognise this, to dig deep within ourselves and to both find and use our own Hidden Gifts.

Until next time… Please take care and stay safe.

Following your own guidance.

Following your own guidance.

Following your own guidance.

The more and more each is impelled by that which is intuitive, or the relying upon the soul force within, the greater, the farther, the deeper, the broader, the more constructive may be the result.”

Edgar Cayce

Intuition is defined as ‘a thing that one knows or considers likely from instinctive feeling rather than conscious reasoning.’ The word ‘intuition’ comes from the Latin word “intueri”, which means to see within.

Intuition has been referred to in many different ways including sixth sense, following your heart, guidance, inspiration and inner wisdom.

However we may choose to refer to it, the Law of Attraction explains that everyone is an extension of source energy and has access to infinite intelligence within them. Also, as everyone is unique with unique intentions and desires, everyone’s guidance from infinite intelligence is unique to them.

Guidance or intuition can come in many different forms including feelings, dreams, visions, hearing the same thing several times in a short period of time and synchronicities. However, whilst it can come in different ways some of which are outer signs you can know the significance of it by how it feels.

There are also different reasons as to why you receive guidance, often it is to lead you in a particular direction, whilst at other times it is to reassure you that things are working out for you and that there is a loving universe that is aware of and assisting you.

It has been said that guidance takes into account an infinite number of factors from a higher perspective and that usually we are not aware of all of these factors as if we were, we would be overloaded with unnecessary information, when all we need is the guidance about what to do or what to think.

In relation to this sometimes the guidance doesn’t seem logical, however the more people begin to pay attention to it, the more they usually see that it is assisting them. For instance as guidance is operating in a non-linear framework, someone’s guidance might tell them to meet a friend on Saturday afternoon but logically they know they can’t because they have a client on Saturday afternoon.

However their infinite intelligence is taking into account the fact that the client is going to reschedule their appointment. Another interesting aspect of guidance is that usually you are not given guidance for the whole of your journey but rather moment by moment guidance for the next step.

A key part of living the Law of Attraction is developing an increased awareness of and relationship with your intuition. People are sometimes taught to listen to others, rather than to follow what feels right to them, however as they begin to increasingly follow their own guidance, they become more of their own authority in their life and to know that their unique guidance matters. Following your own guidance also leads to life being easier and more of an exciting adventure.

It can be best to begin to follow your guidance on things that are more inconsequential such as which way to walk or drive. The more you listen to and follow your guidance the more you will then having an increasing ability to discern what is guidance and what isn’t and you will gain more and more confidence and trust in your own guidance and how it is benefiting you.

Whilst guidance is always available there are several things that you can do to open yourself to receive it more. One powerful way is to firstly begin to pay attention to it and to appreciate it when you do receive it, as this will keep you in a receptive mode to allow more guidance to flow.

Also, as infinite intelligence is operating on the level of love and appreciation through doing regular lists of appreciation you will have greater access to guidance. Furthermore meditating regularly clears the mind which allows guidance to be more easily recognised.

A final technique that can be useful if you have a particular decision to make, is to write down a request to the universe such as “allow me to know which direction to take in my life” and to then go into meditation. Very often through having firstly clarified and focused on the question by writing it, an answer will come to you during the unresisted time of meditation. However, even if it doesn’t come to you immediately if you do your best to stay open to receiving an answer at a later time, the answer will very likely come.

Riding the storm of life

We do not have to go to the foot of the Himalayas to attain inner peace. We also do not need to renounce everything before attaining quietude. Instead, we can live day to day in inner quietude. If we look at all of life’s experiences and their disturbing content with inner eyes, the disturbances we undergo will remain at the periphery. Deep down there will be an emotional quiet.

Storms1Inner peace is all about coping. If the unpleasant and painful memories remian too long with us, we will not make the transition that we are called to make from restless non-acceptance to quiet acceptance.

We are in a win-win situation when we accept the challenge of living, discriminating how far we should go along a certain track, who we should relate to in more intimate terms and those we need to distance because their values are so desperate from our own.

If we are self-sacrificing and wise, we will remain calm and tranquil despite the provocations we face. We do not avoid difficult people and circumstances, but learn to deal with them by distancing ourselves from them and building on relationships that bring happiness.

Withdrawal is an option but it would lead to disengagement and non-involvement and that does not bring required results. The inner peace we crave comes after traversing a long passage. Learning with experience, we begin to take things in our stride. It’s not all that easy, though.

There are many ways to cultivate and build on inner peace. We could set some time aside daily for prayer and neditation. Disproportionate understanding can blow up the way we perceive things. We could spend quiet time in the garden, in silent communication with plants and trees. We endure life’s storms and learn to absorb its shocks and we find that we are, in fact, in the midst of all these circumstances, communing with God, a tangible presence in our lives.

Coping is not just reactive, it’s proactive too. We pick up the mantle thrown to us and practice patience, detachment, endurance, serenity and acceptance of all that comes our way. To overcome obstacles and difficulties we need to develop coping skills that encompass mental and spiritual needs.

The only difference between the wise and the foolish is that the wise learn to cope with reality and transform it and the foolish get swept away by the ups and downs of life.

Life is uncertain; it is unpredictable. It is also unfair, it seems. But in learning to cope with all the ups and downs of life, we begin to live a full life.

There is the parable of the wise man in the gospels who built his house on rock. It withstood all the rains and storms. On the other hand, the man who built his house on sand watched his house get destroyed in the rain and storm. Hence, we need to cultivate rock-like resilience and welcome attributes that will help us to cope. The reward of inner strength is inner peace. Right here, in your living room, your workplace in your family will find inner peace. We do not have to look too far.

Once we learn to cope, the going will be easier and there will be no need to hide our real selves. We will be able to stand up and meet life on our own terms. And experience the fulfilment of a pilgrimage well weathered.

The Wisdom To Know

How do we define wisdom?  Is it being knowledgeable? Is it a way of thinking?  The Oxford Dictionary describes wisdom as “experience and knowledge together  with the power of applying them critically or practically” or “common  sense”.
Tree_of_Wisdom_by_Dark_KunorIn our search for wisdom, we still must ask the question, we can  gain experience through life and we can acquire knowledge through learning but  where do we get the power or the common sense?
For the most part,  psychologists all agree that wisdom as distinct from the cognitive abilities  measured by the standard IQ tests. They believe that wisdom is a trait that can  be developed by experience, but can never be taught.
In more general  matters, wisdom is synonymous with prudence. Some people  believe that wisdom is a gift that even a child, uneducated and inexperienced  may possess.

Wisdom is a virtue that is recognized by all circles whether they  are religious, cultural or philosophical. Wisdom is defined as a set of  principles that govern all of a person’s actions and decisions.  It can pertain to a person’s perspective on life and how they deal with any  number of situations.
But what is it that makes a person wise? Can wisdom  be taught? Do we gain wisdom from experience or is it inherited? Can true wisdom  be gained by spirituality?
As far back as the ancient Greeks wisdom was  associated with virtue. Philosophers spoke about the virtue of wisdom with  regards to courage and moderation. The Catholic Church says that wisdom stands  with justice, fortitude and moderation as one of the four virtues. Yet some  religions believe that wisdom was achieved by restoring balance. In Islam, it is  believed that the Prophet Muhammad was chosen by God to represent his wisdom.

Some eastern  philosophies also have their thoughts on wisdom such as Buddha who taught that a  wise person has good bodily conduct, speaks well and controls their mind. It is  a wise person that will do the tasks that are unpleasant but have to be done.  The law of karma.
So there is much conjecture to how wisdom is acquired,  yet every day we become a little wiser from the experience of just living. It is  this experience that when examined, dissected and evaluated by us becomes  wisdom. It is of our own choosing whether or not to use our experiences to gain  wisdom. For example, you are running in a field, not watching where you are  putting your feet, you trip over a log and hurt your knee. It is now up to you  what you do with this experience. Do you rub your knee and forget it or do you  quickly make a mental note to be more vigilant about where you put your feet?
Naturally, a wise person would do the latter. Just as a wise person  would take an umbrella with them if there were heavy clouds in the sky or a jumper if there was a cold wind. So it  could be said that wisdom is really a form of common sense.
Wisdom, like  learned knowledge, comes at all levels from basic common sense to very deep  reflective wisdom gained from reflective thought about all that has gone before  us and by the analysis of our lives, our achievements and our failures and by  looking at why each occurred and how it could have been better handled. How many  times have you thought back over an incident and thought “if only?” If we can  acknowledge these outcomes and reasons, we can learn, then apply it to what may  come next.
Having the wisdom to know what to do, what to say and when to  say it is all a matter of looking at the situation logically, using the  experiences from our past and thinking about the possible outcomes of our next  action or sentence. For some intuitive people this can be a natural process yet  for others it may take a little more time and dedication.
It would appear  that while wisdom cannot be learned from a text  book, it can be taught. You can be taught how to become more aware of  situations, thoughts, actions and deeds and the possible outcomes of these yet,  only you can heed the advice being given and utilize the information in a  logical manner. Wisdom comes from within, from looking at the information at  hand, critically examining it and then using that information in a logical  manner.
