Spiritual Tarot and Guidance ~ Knock Knock

Hi everyone ~ this reading is for the 5th ~ 11th September 2021, but I trust as always that whenever it finds you that the Spiritual & Angelic Realms will have a message for you in this reading that also applies at that time.

The overarching energy for this week’s reading is represented to by the Door to Spirit. The message for us from the spiritual & angelic realms through this card is “knock Knock!”.

We are trying so hard to work with you, communicate with you and guide you. The door to our world is always open. and all that we need from you is that you trust us, and be open to us. We are trying to help you to further develop your intuition, so that you may become more aware of our presence.

When the door to spirit opens if you are willing to listen and trust, then your understanding of the spirit world will also deepen. You will become open to their guidance, and your intuition will deepen as will your connection with them.

Our next card that was chosen with their guidance was Thriving. The message for us here is that just like the tree in the background of the image on the card, known as The Tree of Life (the baobab), The Tree of Life has adapted and survived for over 200 million years through many difficult and hard situations and still thrived… and so can we!

We can also at times have to face challenging time’s too, and when we are faced with them we can also thrive. We also have the ability to adapt and change where necessary. We are stronger than we believe and have the ability to overcome any obstacles on our path.

There may be those who look to us for support at times, and we are reminded that giving our support where needed can also help us to grow (3 of Cups). We are reminded that the deep connections that we forge are not always with blood relatives but with others outside of our immediate family. These become the family we choose as our family. These strong connections are often mirrors of ourselves. It is through these connections, the disagreements, miscommunications’ as well as the fun and laughter that we can learn more about ourselves than in any other way.

As we walk our path through life we are often challenged by others and sometimes by our own chosen family (5 of Wands). In these situations if we can “see them” in their true light they can be good for us. They can challenge us to be more creative and give us the push we need to move forward and further advance along our own path more quickly than we would have.

There also comes a warning with this card too, and that is if the competition becomes overbearing, aggressive or detrimental to our health or growth, it is a time to step back and cut the ties that bind you to the person or situation that is creating it.

Often people will come into our life and become a part of our family or maybe just an acquaintance. Some of them will be with us for a lifetime, others only for a short period of time. They may come into our life just to teach us a lesson that we need to learn, or offer the support and guidance we need at a particular time (The Hierophant).

Although these people can act as guides and teachers in our lives, if we listen to and acknowledge the “knock knock” and that the door that has opened, we will find that our own intuition grows stronger, and if we listen to that quiet voice within, we will find that all the knowledge and wisdom that we need we already possess. It is that internal voice that holds the wisdom of the heavens within us.

Knock Knock… who’s there?

Until next time… Please take care and stay safe.

Spiritual Tarot & Guidance ~ Energy Check-in

Hi everyone ~ this is our mid week “energy check-in for the 14th ~ 21st August 2021, but as always I trust that whenever it finds you that the Spiritual & Angelic realms will have a message for you in this reading that also applies at that time.

I don’t really use the guidebooks that comes with the card decks as I allow and trust my intuition and link to the spirit world to guide me. However I always have a flick through when I purchase new cards to see if anything stands out to me, or there is a hidden message in there for me.

With deck that I have used today there is an opening sentence in the description/meaning for todays card that has stuck with me and always brings a smile when I see this card. Not only that it also brings with it a strong message for this weeks energy check-in. The opening sentence is as follows.

“It is safe for you to become naked with life. This doesn’t necessarily mean stripping off and running wild in public”.

Alana Fairchild

What we are being asked by the spiritual and angelic realms is to strip away our old worn out beliefs, try to let go of the need to try to control everything in our lives (especially those things that are really out of our control) and to throw away the different masks that we wear for different occasions (i.e. family, friends, loved ones, work) because we feel we have to appear & act in certain ways for certain people or situations because we feel it is what’s expected of us.

Spirit want us to be “US”, the true us and not what is expected of us by others. As the saying goes… ” what others feel and think of us, is none of our business”.

The message and strong energy that is around us is supporting the words of this weeks message from the spiritual and angelic realms. If you haven’t had chance to read it you yet can find it here: https://medium2spirit.blog/2021/08/13/spiritual-tarot-guidance-shine-your-light/

Yes it may be a bit scary for some of us to lay ourselves “naked” to the world because we cling to those things we know and feel we can control, we don’t care much for change and letting go is scary when we don’t have the full picture or know what’s around the corner. We are however being asked to let go of what no longer serves us, to be true to ourselves, be open to change, new opportunities and trust our intuition. As the spiritual and angelic realms advised in the weekly reading…. Allow your light to shine bright!

Take care and stay safe

Following your own guidance.

Following your own guidance.

Following your own guidance.

The more and more each is impelled by that which is intuitive, or the relying upon the soul force within, the greater, the farther, the deeper, the broader, the more constructive may be the result.”

Edgar Cayce

Intuition is defined as ‘a thing that one knows or considers likely from instinctive feeling rather than conscious reasoning.’ The word ‘intuition’ comes from the Latin word “intueri”, which means to see within.

Intuition has been referred to in many different ways including sixth sense, following your heart, guidance, inspiration and inner wisdom.

However we may choose to refer to it, the Law of Attraction explains that everyone is an extension of source energy and has access to infinite intelligence within them. Also, as everyone is unique with unique intentions and desires, everyone’s guidance from infinite intelligence is unique to them.

Guidance or intuition can come in many different forms including feelings, dreams, visions, hearing the same thing several times in a short period of time and synchronicities. However, whilst it can come in different ways some of which are outer signs you can know the significance of it by how it feels.

There are also different reasons as to why you receive guidance, often it is to lead you in a particular direction, whilst at other times it is to reassure you that things are working out for you and that there is a loving universe that is aware of and assisting you.

It has been said that guidance takes into account an infinite number of factors from a higher perspective and that usually we are not aware of all of these factors as if we were, we would be overloaded with unnecessary information, when all we need is the guidance about what to do or what to think.

In relation to this sometimes the guidance doesn’t seem logical, however the more people begin to pay attention to it, the more they usually see that it is assisting them. For instance as guidance is operating in a non-linear framework, someone’s guidance might tell them to meet a friend on Saturday afternoon but logically they know they can’t because they have a client on Saturday afternoon.

However their infinite intelligence is taking into account the fact that the client is going to reschedule their appointment. Another interesting aspect of guidance is that usually you are not given guidance for the whole of your journey but rather moment by moment guidance for the next step.

A key part of living the Law of Attraction is developing an increased awareness of and relationship with your intuition. People are sometimes taught to listen to others, rather than to follow what feels right to them, however as they begin to increasingly follow their own guidance, they become more of their own authority in their life and to know that their unique guidance matters. Following your own guidance also leads to life being easier and more of an exciting adventure.

It can be best to begin to follow your guidance on things that are more inconsequential such as which way to walk or drive. The more you listen to and follow your guidance the more you will then having an increasing ability to discern what is guidance and what isn’t and you will gain more and more confidence and trust in your own guidance and how it is benefiting you.

Whilst guidance is always available there are several things that you can do to open yourself to receive it more. One powerful way is to firstly begin to pay attention to it and to appreciate it when you do receive it, as this will keep you in a receptive mode to allow more guidance to flow.

Also, as infinite intelligence is operating on the level of love and appreciation through doing regular lists of appreciation you will have greater access to guidance. Furthermore meditating regularly clears the mind which allows guidance to be more easily recognised.

A final technique that can be useful if you have a particular decision to make, is to write down a request to the universe such as “allow me to know which direction to take in my life” and to then go into meditation. Very often through having firstly clarified and focused on the question by writing it, an answer will come to you during the unresisted time of meditation. However, even if it doesn’t come to you immediately if you do your best to stay open to receiving an answer at a later time, the answer will very likely come.

Confident Decision Making: Trust Your Intuition

Just imagine that someone gave you a simple but powerful computer that had the capacity to answer any question or solve any problem you would ever face. All you would have to do is properly program the problem into the computer. Then, at exactly the right time, it would bring you exactly the answer that you need; the answer would always be perfectly correct for you.

IntuitionThe fact is that you already have such a computer, and it’s installed right between your ears. The only real difference between extremely effective men and women and men and women who are not happy with their results is the degree to which they use this amazing computer. The wonderful thing is that you can easily learn to use this computer, and when you do, you will immediately start to benefit from better decision making and getting better results.

To begin, it’s important for you to understand that your brain is divided into two hemispheres, commonly called the right brain and the left brain. Extensive research suggests that each part of the brain is responsible for specific functions.

Your left brain tends to be responsible for linear, sequential, orderly and organized functions. It is practical, analytical and skeptical. It is the part of the brain that deals with categories and concrete things. Your left brain deals with the verbal, the mathematical and the scientific. It is the engineering half of the brain, and it is primarily focused on processing facts in a step-by-step fashion.

Your right brain, on the other hand, is very different. Your right brain is holistic and spontaneous. While your left brain deals with individual details, your right brain deals with complete pictures and fully integrated ideas and situations. Your right brain is also in charge of your creative, musical and artistic abilities. It is responsible for dance and singing and laughter. Your right brain is also responsible for the intuitive processes of thinking, feeling, problem solving and decision making.

When you learn to harmonize the operations of both of these brains so they work together in cooperation, you begin to perform at exceptional levels. In fact, men and women begin to become great when they begin to utilize the marvelous capacities of the right brain, especially for making important decisions.

An intuitive decision, one that comes to you from within, is always superior to anything else that you can arrive at by simply considering the facts and details. An intuitive decision integrates all of your knowledge about a subject simultaneously and gives you an answer that is a superior synthesis to anything that you could have worked out in a step-by-step fashion. This is why the men and women who are at the top of virtually all organizations tend to be extremely intuitive in their decision making and problem solving capabilities for themselves and others.

Ralph Waldo Emerson called intuition the “still, small voice within.” This inner voice is like an unfailing guide or mechanism that always tells you the correct thing to do or say. The more you trust it and believe in it, the better and more accurately it works for you. And your ability to use your intuitive decision-making powers precedes and predicts your success and effectiveness in virtually everything you do.

To trigger your intuition and tap into higher levels of your mind on a regular basis, you need to have four mental qualities. The first, as I mentioned, is a complete trust and belief, almost a childlike faith, in your intuition, and the disposition to just “go with the flow” of your inner mind. Your intuition functions effortlessly and works best when you stop trying to make something happen and instead just “let go” and accept whatever solution comes to you.

The second mental quality that enables you to use your intuition more efficiently is a positive mental attitude. By this, I mean that you are simply calm, relaxed and cheerful about outcomes. A positive mental attitude has been described as a constructive response to stress and adversity. When you respond in a relaxed, easygoing way, you create the mental climate that enables your brain to function at its best, and this is what triggers your intuition.

The third mental quality for enhancing your intuition is an attitude of confident expectation. The more positive and more confident you are, the sharper and quicker your intuitions and solutions will be. So confidently expect things to go well for you. Look for the valuable lesson in every difficulty and adversity. Seek out the advantage or benefit in each setback or obstacle that you face. Your conscious decision to keep your mind focused on the good parts of your situation, coupled with your refusal to dwell on the negative parts, will give you a mind that functions at its best to help you achieve your goals.

The fourth mental quality for intuitive decision making is listening. Women tend to be better at listening to their intuition than men are. This is probably why women’s intuition is so much more respected than men’s intuition is. However, both men and women have the same intuitive abilities. All they have to do is listen to them on a regular basis. Most of our mistakes in life result from ignoring our intuition or refusing to listen to our intuition because we think that by doing so, we will be better off. It always turns out to be a mistake.

8 Ways To Sharpen Your Intuition And Make Your Life Better

8 Ways To Sharpen Your Intuition And Make Your Life Better

8 Ways To Sharpen Your Intuition And Make Your Life Better

I am blessed in many ways.

One thing that I am particularly grateful for is the fact that over the years I have been able to connect with a steady clientele of people who are willing to listen to their inner voice and create successful lives. My clients are people who have had enough with being depressed, stressed, emotionally unhappy, perpetually dieting, or living with low self-worth. They choose to work with me because they want more.

With my front row seat to how these personal growth oriented people think and behave, I have come to the conclusion that they share at least one thing in common: They allow themselves to reach forward into the desire of living their full potential, to have morehappiness, more emotional well-being, and more fulfillment. They may have only the tiniest speck of hope that life can be better, but they are willing to use that speck to take their next step forward. That’s their biggest secret.

These people are aware that although their current situation may feel stuck or overwhelming, life doesn’t change on its own. They are willing to take responsibility for themselves to have more fullness of life. From the depths of their despair, emotional distress, or personal suffering, they are willing to reach for a greater life experience.

In short, these people put their faith in that tiny voice inside that tells them more is possible. Despite major life challenges, they listen to their intuition and allow themselves to become curious to explore their own limits of what is possible. In thinking about how some people allow themselves to want more for themselves, I realized how important it is to look beyond the voice of despair, no matter how loud it may be, and learn to listen for the voice of intuition.

What Is Intuition?
Intuition is the ability to get a sense, understanding, or feeling about something. Yourintuition is an aspect of you, it is an extension of you. It is how you speak to yourself about getting yourself together and making new choices that move you forward into advantageous possibilities. Your intuition can help you see when you are staying in your balance, or if you are getting pulled out of your balance by other people or events.

It has been said that intuition is your own voice of higher consciousness, or your own divine spirit talking to you. Intuition is not from the logical mind, but from a higher perspective. Albert Einstein once said, “The intellect has little to do on the road to discovery. There comes a leap in consciousness, call it intuition or what you will, the solution come to you and you don’t know how or why. The truly valuable thing is intuition.”

Even if you have not been accustomed to listening to your intuition, or trusting your intuition, you have this amazing power! Read below for the eight best strategies to help you hone your intuitive abilities to assist you in making better decisions for your life.

1. Self-Love

Intuition is not something outside of yourself. It is not someone else telling you what to do. Intuition is your own higher perspective. It is your own desire to express yourself creatively in all that you do. Your intuition is your infinite capacity to search for, and find, creative solutions for your challenges and your life. Most everyone already knows that when you ignore intuition, the situation does not generally turn out so well. Allowing yourself to invite more of your intuition into your life is a powerful act of self-love. By embracing your intuition, you show compassion for yourself and make the choice to bring more positive outcomes into your life.

2. Listen To Your Body

Intuition is accurate information from your spirit. Your intuitive messages can come in a number of forms. You may hear actual words, see a clear image, or have a deep inner knowingness. Your intuition may communicate with you in the form of hunches, insights, Aha! moments, a feeling, a sixth sense, or various types of body sensations. You may also experience intuition by noticing synchronicities. Set your intention to notice the many individual ways your intuition communicates with you.

3. Embrace Quietness

Intuition is initially often a quiet, gentle nudge. It generally does not shout loud enough to be heard over your stress, upset, frustration, anger, or judgement. Spending some quiet contemplative time each day is good way to strengthen your intuitive voice. Simply sit in a quiet place every day for about 1 to 20 minutes. Take a deep breath, and ask, “What is it I need to know?” or, “What will move me one step closer to a more fulfilling and meaningful life. Then be open. Release your need to think, analyze, and know everything. The best information comes from the quiet guidance of your own intuition.

4. Sit With Your Problem

Try this experiment. When something is deeply troubling you, just sit with it. Don’t do anything to logically fix or solve the problem. Instead, just sit, place your intention on allowing the best possible outcome, and breathe. See if you can step away from the negative thoughts circling with frenzy within your head. Your intuition sees many creative ways to bring about a goal or bring about a positive outcome to your situation. Your job is to stop fretting and stressing with the problem, and instead place your focus on being open to amazing new potentials. Make the decision to allow your intuition to get involved in your life.

5. Play Games With Your Intuition

Play fun little games with yourself that allow intuition to expand. For example, when standing in front of a bank of elevators, ask your intuition to “tell” you which elevator will reach your floor first. If you guess correctly, make a big deal of it. Let your intuition know it did a great job and how happy you are to hear from it. Notice how good you feel and breathe into that feeling. Let yourself know that you want more of this type of intuition that feels good. It doesn’t matter if your correct guess was just a fluke or actually intuition. Your purpose is not to second guess, but to build up more of what you want. If you guessed incorrectly, just shrug it off. Let your intuition know that you may have ignored it in the past, but you are now ready to begin listening and taking action on its wisdom. Have some patience with yourself. Once you decide that you want more intuitive information in your life, it will begin showing up. Allow yourself to turn those initial little successes into avenues of greater intuition.

6. Ask Intuition Based Questions

Questioning is one of the best ways to develop stronger intuition and gain clarity and insight. When getting in touch with your intuitive self, ask questions that would lead you forward into positive solutions. Ask clearly formed questions that allow clear answers. For example, you might ask, “What is the next step I could take that would bring new energy and new passion?” Intuition can bring you down paths you hadn’t considered. Intuition can show you new paths to try and new possibilities. Your intuition is infinitely inventive. When listening for your intuitive answers, remember that you may get your answers from a variety of sources including hunches, coincidences, feelings, words, or even physical sensations.

7. Follow Your Intuitive Hunches

Once you get an intuitive idea, decide to take action. It doesn’t have to be a huge life changing action, but you can take one small, comfortable step in the direction of your intuitive guidance. On a day-to-day basis, allow your intuition to play a bigger role in your life. If you have a sense to take a left turn instead of a right turn, follow through and go left. If you are grocery shopping and the broccoli somehow calls to you instead of the carrots you had intended to purchase, buy the broccoli. You don’t need to logically question “why” you turned left or bought broccoli. Your goal is to create a bond of trust between your logical self and your intuitive self. When you fail to follow your hunches and gut feelings, talk to your intuition. Tell it that it did a fine job of providing useful information. Let it know that yes, it would have been wise to follow through with the intuitive course of action, but this time you choose not to. However, let your intuition know that you still want the input even though you might not always listen.

8. Journal

Writing is a gateway to the soul which means it is also a gateway to your intuition. Exploring with pen and paper allows a process to unfold of reconnecting with hidden aspects of your self. It helps you speak out, allowing ideas to become tangible words. It allows vague concepts to take shape in the safety of a journal. Writing is a power tool that allows what is often locked away inside to have access into the world. It allows you to feel into your physical body and connect with intuition, creativity, and imagination. Writing allows the time to find precisely the right words or the most powerful images to express your self. It takes fuzzy or confusing images and brings them into sharp focus. Writing is an easy way to gain insight from your intuition.

Intuition is your higher perspective and guidance. Since it is an aspect of you, it holds your best interests for creating a fulfilling and meaningful life. Intuition is your urge to creatively manifest your most fulfilling and meaningful life, your goals, your dreams, and all that is good and beautiful. Utilize these eight suggestions to sharpen your intuition and you will be surprised at how often it will give you a short cut to the life and outcomes you want.

Fear or Intuition?

Have you ever wondered whether you were being driven by fear or intuition?

(Like, was it my intuition that told me I was in trouble in that hair stylists’ chair, or was it fear of change?  Shoot, maybe it was both!)

People often ask how to tell the difference.  It seems a good topic to cover, since having confidence in your decision-making skills is always helpful.  Especially when fear seems rampant in the rest of the world.

So I wanted to pick your brains about how YOU tell the difference between fear and intuition.

To get the ball rolling, here’s what Michael Neill of www.genuiscatalyst.com wrote in his newsletter yesterday (edited for brevity):

The common sense/innate wisdom approach to life is nearly always available to us – but most of us spend so much of our time caught up in the whirlwind of our thought that we don’t notice it. And even when we do notice it, we’ll often ignore it hoping that our intellect can find a different answer more in keeping with what we hope will turn out to be true.
I explained this idea to a corporate client with the first example that popped into my head – that nearly ever woman I’ve talked with who has come out the other side of a bad marriage has told me that she ‘knew’ not to marry the guy at some point before getting far enough down the aisle to say ‘I do’.
Before I could even finish my example, another of the women in the room burst into tears. It turned out she was engaged to be married and was doing her best to ignore her wisdom because ‘she didn’t want to let anyone down’.
‘Besides’, she asked me, ‘how do I know whether or not that’s some kind of inner wisdom or just fear?’
I offered her the following guidelines…
– Wisdom often comes disguised as “common sense”, but in reality is extremely uncommon in usage.
– Wisdom is sometimes quiet but always clear
– Wisdom feels right, even if it doesn’t always feel good.
– Wisdom comes most often in the midst of inner quiet.
– Wisdom is always kind
Your wisdom is right there inside you, just waiting for you to allow it to guide you. You need only to be quiet and listen – when you relax into it, you’ll almost always know what to do.

Shell Tain of www.sensiblecoaching.com said in her 9/29 issue of Money Knot:

Intuition is different from the charged emotion of fear. Intuition comes subtly and softly. Its tone is always neutral. An intuitive message may be negative, but the tone or delivery will always be neutral. If you are cranked up on the chemicals of fear you will not receive any messages from your intuition.
My best advice when you are in the fear based scary place is to not make any decisions or changes. Wait until you are in a calmer, clearer frame.

A couple years ago I wrote on the topic of how to tell the difference between Gremlins vs Guides:

  • Gremlin doesn’t move you into power; Higher guidance does
  • Gremlin is fear-based; Higher guidance is love-based
  • Gremlin rambles on and on with long explanations; Higher guidance comes in short “feeling” messages (inspiration, spark, inner knowing)
  • Gremlin makes your body feel tight, stuck, restricted, with shallow breathing; Higher guidance feels open and light

What do you think?  How do you know when fear’s in the driver’s seat versus when your intuition is in effect?

Would also love to hear real life examples of how you handle it!
