Spiritual Awareness

It does not take a great effort (or any effort at all actually) to grow in spiritual awareness. Just be aware, that’s all. Spiritual awareness is simply about being mindful of spiritual Truths. You don’t have to go around obsessing about these Truths to be aware of them. Nor is there really any need to constantly immerse yourself in deep thought in order to break through and “see the (spiritual) light.” Spiritual awareness is not something that you can gain by force. You cannot compel yourself to become more spiritually aware, you merely have to be open to what is already within you.

Spiritual AwarenessAre you aware that the sky is blue? Or that sugar tastes sweet? These truths, in general, are universally elementary. Realizing them does not take any degree of deep thought or obsessive contemplation. They are just things that you are aware of. You don’t have to go around constantly reminding yourself that the sky is blue or that sugar tastes sweet. Why? Because these are truths which you don’t bother to doubt or question. You just accept them. And your acceptance is what informs your awareness. Whether the awareness is a spiritual awareness or the common sense awareness of the sky being blue, it’s all the same. Your acceptance is what causes you to be aware, just as it is your doubt which causes you to be unaware. You cannot perceive what you do not believe. This is a spiritual law.

Your personal reality is a reflection of your beliefs. Your life experience is an expression of the ideas you have chosen to accept as true. Therefore, your reality is different from his reality because each of you (unique expressions of the One God) accepts a different array of ideas as true. Spiritual awareness is about transcending the darkness of your personal reality (a manifestation of your beliefs) into the light of The One Truthful Reality which is common to All. How do you transcend the darkness? The answer is simple – by accepting the light. Every time you let go of a false belief, you grow in spiritual awareness. You accept Truth by letting go of fallacy. Acceptance is about letting go, surrendering, completely giving yourself over to something. You want to grow in spiritual awareness? Simply be accepting of spiritual Truths. But how do you identify a spiritual Truth from a personal “truth?”

Spiritual Truths (with a capital T) evoke good feelings. These Truths stand alone, unadorned by justification or underlying desires. A Spiritual Truth is never a reason for anything. A spiritual Truth simply Is, and that is all. For instance, I am powerful is a spiritual Truth. I am worthy is a spiritual Truth. However, I am powerful because I am rich is not a spiritual Truth. I am worthy because I am giving is not a spiritual Truth. These are not spiritual Truths because they rely on reason to substantiate them. These may, however, be examples of personal “truths.” I say personal because these ideas and experiences are not common to All; but nevertheless may qualify as a “truth” (with a lower case t) in the sense that these ideas and understandings may be true to your experience because you have chosen to accept them as true. Personal truths are not synonymous with spiritual Truths, they are synonymous with delusions. Growing in spiritual awareness means letting go of these delusions.

Every time you let go of a delusion you grow in spiritual awareness. Every time you accept an idea which not only feels good, but is not adorned by any justification, you grow in spiritual awareness.

Spiritual awareness begins and ends within. This means it takes your being able to recognize spiritual Truths within yourself in order for these Truths to be apparent to you in the world around you. All of the universe is but a reflection of You, some aspect of You (as Spirit). But if you are unable to recognize yourself as Spirit, you will likewise not recognize yourself reflected in All that surrounds you. You are perfecting your knowledge of Self in spiritual awareness. As you come to more and more see your Self in others (not just people, but things, places, phenomena… literally everything) you become more spiritually aware. It doesn’t take effort. It simply takes an open mind and an open heart to accelerate your spiritual awareness. You can be mindful of spiritual Truths without spending untold hours dwelling on them, just as it you can be mindful that sugar tastes sweet without obsessively reminding yourself of this fact. If you are truly accepting of a spiritual Truth you will be mindful of It regardless of whether or not you are directly thinking about It. The only effort expended in developing spiritual awareness is the effort it takes to convince yourself to be accepting of the Truths you have thus far rejected. If you truly want to believe you will. Like planting a seed, the real work in raising it up will not be done by your hand it will just be done. Have faith. You cannot help but to grow in spiritual awareness.

The Magic Of Believing In Yourself

You are the writer, the director, the producer, and the star actor of your own show. Think of your life like a Broadway production. Do you want a standing ovation? Do you think it will be a box office disaster? Do you close the curtains every night because you’re afraid to go on stage? You decide and it all starts with believing in yourself.

believe-in-yourselfWhat’s Belief got to do with it?

You believe even when you don’t believe. It’s not a question of whether or not you believe; it becomes a matter of what you are willing to believe. If you’ve spent much of your life dismissing your talents and doubting your capabilities, it can seem like an impossible goal to begin believing in yourself. Since believing in yourself is such a vital part of goal achievement, overcoming your doubt and disbelief is crucial if you want to make jaw-dropping leaps in your life.

Push beyond what you believe you are capable of. This can be quite daunting. It also will be a step in the direction of finding the belief in you. The assumptions you have about yourself are make-believe. You have simply accepted these assumptions as truth without proof. Recognize the possibilities in each situation. Challenge the assumptions and have an open mind to the possibility that you could be wrong!

Believing in you is one of the first steps to success. If you don’t have confidence in yourself, it will be difficult to succeed in anything.

You are doing a great disservice to yourself if you don’t believe in yourself.

I will tell you that every successful person you talk to has believed, to varying degrees that they COULD actually get to where they are today. There’s just something about believing that it’s possible to get what you want that makes things happen.

Beliefs are filters through which you create your reality. They must be held in your consciousness for a while before you begin to see the new result from the belief. Also whether a belief is true or not doesn’t matter. Having a belief that causes you to get more of what you want is important.

So where is your focus right now? Are you focused on the money that’s “Not” in your purse or are you focused that the universe is truly abundant and that you are entitled to a life filled with Beauty, Wealth & Success?

Design it whatever way you’d like.

Believing in yourself is simply a matter of shifting the way you think about yourself and your capabilities. Remember that negative thinking is a habit, whether it applies to you or the circumstances in your life.

You must be willing to put aside the self-imposed gibberish and accept for yourself a greater, more beautiful vision. You will become what you desire to be if you keep that vision in front of you and you make an undying commitment to just believe. Furthermore, if you don’t believe in yourself. How can you expect everyone else to? If you truly believe, whatever you believe you can do, you can do. Our negative or positive thoughts in our waking hours are implanted in our subconscious mind.

Do you realize the power of your subconscious mind?

This is one of the reasons I insist on a mindset makeover. The subconscious mind never sleeps and has no sense of right or wrong thinking. While you’re getting your beauty sleep it records your thoughts, beliefs and actions.

Make today the day you learn how to use your mind to help you achieve your goals. It sounds like hocus pocus but you know what its fail-proof! What you see in your mind’s “eye,” coupled with strong emotion and positive action is what you WILL receive sooner or later. How beautiful is that?

Embrace every opportunity that comes your way. It does not matter if you fall on your pretty little face or whether you think it’s even possible. The important thing is to promise yourself that you will overcome every obstacle. The worst thing to do to yourself is to assume you can’t do something before even trying. Tell yourself right now that any effort to do better is one of the most productive ways you can use your precious time.

With every success, whether large or small, the belief in yourself will grow. That will be the push you need to keep stepping outside your comfort zone and attain the goals you truly deserve.

May you always believe that you can have what your heart truly desires; yes it can feel like magic…

Your little Inner voice

What is our “Inner Speech,” our “little, inner monologue?” Our inner speech or dialogue is how we converse  with ourselves. It is the small voice in our head that we talk with the mental process of the moment, that connects us with our  environment.

Your little, inner monologue is your communication bridge linking your conscious and subconscious mind. It is the way we form impressions  about things; it is how we interpret  external events related to our lives, our circumstances, and our environment. The inner monologue is the way we try to make sense of what is happening around us.

“It is very obvious that we are not influenced  by facts but by our interpretation of the  facts.”

Alfred Adler

The importance of your little, inner voice. . .

Our inner monologue is our best friend who can easily become our enemy.  With our self-talk, we may live in harmony, or be in a constant struggle,  making our life  “heaven on Earth” on one hand, or a “living hell” on  the other. How much mental health and how much joy and fulfilment we experience in life is directly proportional to the  quality of our inner dialogue,  our little, inner speech,  the way we converse with ourselves, by forming impressions about what  is happening in life, in our circumstances, in our surroundings.

“our subconscious minds have no sense of humour, play no  jokes and cannot tell the difference between reality and an  imagined thought or image.”

Conclusively, taking into account the above ancient ideas coupled with modern research about the communication bridge between our conscious and  subconscious, a main way of changing our subconscious programming  is how we reply to it, through our little  self-dialogue.

We can change…

We can change the impression of what is going on around us by the way we  interpret events, or by the way we talk back to ourselves about  what is happening to us–by improving, in other words, the quality  of our little, inner self-talk.

A healthful inner monologue create interpretations of life  circumstances that contributes to self-acceptance, self-love, and high  self-esteem.

A healthy self-dialogue confirms that we accept ourselves as we  are, and that we are at peace with the way we relate with our little, inner  voice. It implies friendship and love with the “little voice-guy” that we  are going to carry him around for the rest of our lives! In addition, when  our inner monologue is harmonious, we are better in touch with  our feelings, which means that we can enjoy and able to express the  real part of us spontaneously.

The two-way channel is in harmony as the relation between the two  components of the mind is harmonious as the conscious mind and the  subconscious refreshes each other, building and strengthening each other as  an ongoing process. A healthy outgrowing emotional and  spiritual maturity is the result, as it is a product from our  correct understanding of and a healthy  relationship with, reality. way we interact, talk, and relate with  our inner little voice.

How to Get Rid Of Limiting Beliefs

Are you being held back by limiting beliefs? Having limiting beliefs can seriously hinder your progress in life.

How to Get Rid Of Limiting Beliefs

Are you being held back by limiting beliefs? Having limiting beliefs can seriously hinder your progress in life. Beliefs are strong convictions that certain things in the world, and in life are factual or real. They are also an overview about the condition of the world. Your beliefs are very personal and are linked to your values. For instance if you value loyalty, you will most likely have beliefs like:

Most people are loyal.
There is no need for me to check up on my wife/husband.
I know that my employees are the best because they are loyal to the company.
My friend will stand up for me.

On the other hand if you value disloyalty more. You are more likely to believe the exact opposite.

People are disloyal.
I must follow my wife/husband.
My employees are crap! And disloyal.
My friend, he will never stand up for me.

Limiting beliefs are beliefs that stop you from doing something because you think that you can’t. Basically they are simple statements that you either say to yourself, or think about.

“I am not good enough.”
“I am always unlucky.”
“Everyone is better than me at doing this.”

Most of the time these beliefs are imperceptible. But they have a sufficient amount of power over some of your thoughts and behaviours. Enough to restrict your results in some area of your life.

Like for instance if you have the misleading belief that failing at doing something is awful, then you’ll avoid trying new things. Thus hindering your personal growth, as well as passing many varied opportunities that could improve your life. The thing is you need to accept failure now and again if you want to develop new skills and opportunities in life.

So where do these limiting beliefs originate? A lot of these beliefs are programmed into you during childhood by other people. For instance, teachers, friends at school and even members of your family. Think back to when you were a child. Think of all the things that you were scared to do, or dropped out of because of some negative comment by some idiot that made you belief that you couldn’t do them.

You’ll know if you have limiting beliefs by the words that you use when you talk to yourself. If you say any of these phrases to yourself then you do have limiting beliefs about yourself.

“I can’t do this….”
“I am not good enough.”
“I am always unlucky.”
“Everyone is better than me at doing this.”

These are the steps you need to take to change unhelpful beliefs.

Step one:

Ask yourself, have I always believed this belief about myself?

How did this belief originate?

Is this belief still true?

How do I know if this belief is true? What evidence do I have to support this belief?

Do I know anyone with an opposite belief?

Do I have any evidence to support that this belief might be untrue?

Is this belief stupid, or absurd? In what way is it Stupid, or absurd?

Step two:

Now think of a more empowering belief. Any belief that is opposite to the one you already have. Try on different beliefs. Beliefs that make you really feel better about yourself. Do this until you find one that fits. Make sure that you state your new belief in the positive. Like, “I can learn new things, I am intelligent.”

Step three:

Now you need to integrate this new belief into your personality. Think of how everything will be different now that you have this new belief. Imagine yourself holding a conversation with this new belief. How will this new belief affect your family and friends. Over time this new way of thinking about yourself will start to become a habit. Eventually you will automatically generate empowering beliefs about yourself. Good luck!

Crystal Energy and Chakras

Crystal energy can be used to increase the energies that help healing the body  and mind. Unbalances in the body’s energy field can be caused by the mind  focusing on negative aspects. Crystal energy helps change negative energies and  replaces them with positive energies.
Crystal energy affects your body by  balancing your body’s energy. I will not be touching here on the use of crystals  healing by means of a healer; however, I will focus on the use of crystal energy  and the theory behind healing crystals and gemstones.
crystal chakrasThe theory behind  crystal energy is to do with the Quantum theory. The Quantum theory considers  the Universe and all things that make it, as existing in an empty space with  forms of energy moving within each space. Of course this includes our physical  body which is a space with energy flowing infinitely through its own space. Your  body’s energy is used when you breath and when you show emotions and  thoughts.
The healing processes of crystals and gemstones are considered  a special flow of energy that change the way the destructive energy flows. This  special flow of energy can be helped by the use of healing crystals and  gemstones to improve and speed up the healing processes. Crystals and gemstones  can be used as a tool to give the healing flow of energy an important boost in adding power to achieve cures.
Crystal energy and crystals are a tool that can enhance not just your health,  but anything you undertake. Although crystals and gemstones occupy a different  space than our body and mind, within the Universe there occur an interaction  between your body and mind and the energy forms. This interaction is executed  through shared properties resulting from the energy flow.
For example,  the electromagnetic properties of a Quartz  crystal share the same type of electromagnetic properties of the body,  thus somehow the crystal’s electromagnetic  energy flows can positively interact with the same electromagnetic energy  flow of the human body.
The quantum theory helps to explain the effect of  crystals in our psychological and biological life. Even disregarding the Quantum  theory, the use of healing crystals and gemstones has been a beneficial practice  used by people throughout centuries. This practice is very beneficial for the  healing processes.
Crystals and their colors correspond to chakra points in your body. These have been found to have  cleansing and energizing properties that interact with the body causing them to  work on problem areas. Appling the energy of the crystals and gemstones to the  body enhances the cleansing and energizing effect to the body.
Below is a  list of the chakras and most popular crystals used in healing.
Root  Chakra: Jasper (bloodstone), garnet, onyx and rubies.
Second Chakra: Hematite  and moonstone.
Third Chakra: Citrine, amber and topaz.
Fourth Chakra: Rose  quartz and Chinese Fluorite.
Fifth Chakra: Aquamarine and turquoise.
Six  Chakra: Sapphire, turquoise and amethyst.
Seventh Chakra: Clear quartz and  amethyst.

The Art of Allowing and The Law of Attraction

The art of allowing in its most basic form is to visualize and think about the things that you would like to manifest and then detach yourself from the outcome. But let me be clear, I am not saying that you must be detached, and I certainly don’t mean that you should quit your job, sit at home & wait to win the lottery. Be sure to understand that “the art of allowing” does not mean that you should be passive or inactive.

The art of allowing has absolutely nothing to do with being lazy or idle. When you start to practice the art of allowing, you will start to take inspired action as if it is running on auto-pilot. When you let go of your need to have anything, you are in effect lining yourself up to manifest abundance into your life. It is the detachment from the outcome of your desire that demonstrates the confidence that you have in manifesting the things that  you would like to materialise into your life.

In a sense, the art of allowing is just “a state of being” a specific frequency of appreciation that you project into the universe. It is a clear and certain confidence in knowing that all of your wants and needs are effortlessly going to be met. This frequency allows you to become a magnetic manifesting master and create your reality with certainty and clarity.

Do not mix up allowing with simply tolerating something. By simply tolerating something, you are in essence not allowing it. Tolerating & Allowing are two different ends of the spectrum. An example of toleration is when you come across a situation that bothers or disturbs you and then you consciously decide that you are not going to do anything to stop  or change the situation. Tolerating something would make you feel negative emotion, and you cannot experience the joys of freedom when you have negative emotion.

The Law of Attraction states that like attracts like, and that you will manifest the things that you focus on into your reality. By placing emotion behind the thoughts of things that you do, or do not want to manifest you are giving the thought or idea more power and momentum.   If you say YES or NO to something with emotional content, you will attract more of that into your life, because that is what you are focused on and it is backed up with emotional force.

The Art of Allowing can be challenging to learn and apply, especially when we have learned to judge almost everything in our lives. In order to allow the things that you want flow to you effortlessly, you would be well served to allow others to focus on the things that they want, even if you do not agree with it. When you gain an understanding of these principles and put them to use on a conscious level, you put yourself in a place of non-resistance and open up the door of manifesting your hearts true desires.
